And I have been married to my beautiful wife Julianna for over 27 years and I absolutely love her. I’m drawn to creative people who love showing their inner child, are inquisitive, and desire a greater good for all. IT Systems Specialist – Lufkin/Tyler

About: I’ve been in the tech world since my early teens, working as tech support for my family’s dial up ISP out of our garage in the mid 90’s. Later I was the IT Manager for a mid to large size plastics manufacturer in Grand Saline for about 15 years. After that I went to work for one of our local vendors running his break/fix electronics repair shop for about 5 years before finding my new family at Heritage Land Bank. I’ll hit my two year anniversary on December 1st and I think that’s a pretty interesting coincidence.

I grew up and went all the way through school in Mineola and have lived within 30 miles of there ever since. I’m currently located at the Lindale branch that is conveniently 5 minutes from my house.

I enjoy the silence and solitude of long hikes wandering through backcountry areas. Other hobbies include off-road/overlanding, camping, kayaking, and of course video games.

I’m the oldest of 4 kids and I’m married with 4 kids myself, all boys thankfully, and very recently a grandson.

Fun Fact: I kind of retired for 2 years in my 30’s and had an absolute blast. I may have to work a few more years now, but it was worth it to do fun stuff when I was in the best shape of my life. No Regrets.

I graduated from Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, TX in 2003; where I earned a full business scholarship after attending Teague High School.
