Texas Farm Credit, a rural lending cooperative, recently awarded $5,000 scholarships to ten students across the state through the 2024 Marsha Martin Scholarship Program.
The scholarships honor the memory of Marsha Pyle Martin, a native of Paris, Texas. At the time of her death in January 2000, she was chair and chief executive officer of the Farm Credit Administration. Since 2000, Texas Farm Credit has presented $338,500 in college scholarships.
“Our scholarship initiative offers a valuable chance to connect with and uplift tomorrow’s leaders,” remarked Mark Miller, CEO of Texas Farm Credit. “We take pride in contributing to their aspirations in agriculture, even if it’s just a humble role in their journey.”
