Texas Farm Credit Continues Commitment to Conservation with $20,000 Donation to Texan by Nature

Texas Farm Credit proudly announces its continued support of Texan by Nature with a $20,000 donation made on Tuesday, July 8, 2025. This marks the third consecutive year the agricultural cooperative has contributed to the organization, further solidifying its dedication to advancing sustainability and conservation initiatives across the state of Texas.

The contribution is part of Texas Farm Credit’s Passion Forward initiative, a program launched in 2017 to give back 1–2% of annual net income to local charitable causes. Through this initiative, Texas Farm Credit demonstrates its ongoing commitment to environmental stewardship and collaborative conservation.

As part of the donation, Texas Farm Credit team members met with the Texan by Nature leadership during a luncheon to discuss current conservation projects and identify areas for future collaboration.

During the meeting, the two organizations shared insights on their latest conservation initiatives and explored new ways to amplify impact across Texas. Discussions focused on supporting landowners through collaborative project development, expanding outreach, and educating communities about conservation possibilities. Key topics also included volunteer and grant programs, joint storytelling opportunities, and data-driven tools to better track and measure conservation outcomes.

Texas Farm Credit’s $20,000 donation qualifies the cooperative at the Partner level within Texan by Nature’s membership tiers. This designation reflects a shared belief in building a legacy of conservation—ensuring that Texas’s land, water, and wildlife continue to provide positive returns for generations to come. The partnership underscores the value of innovative solutions and creative collaborations in driving meaningful, long-term environmental impact.
