Texas Farm Credit, a rural lending cooperative, recently hired Rebecca McDaniel as a Mortgage Loan Officer. She will be serving customers and communities across Texas Farm Credit’s Northeast Texas territory.

McDaniel grew up in the small community of Miller Grove, Texas, where she developed a deep appreciation for agriculture and rural life. She earned her bachelor’s degree in agricultural business from East Texas A&M University in 2012 and later completed her master’s degree in finance in 2017.

Rebecca began her career in agricultural lending in 2009 and later gained valuable experience in commercial banking and lending. She is excited to continue serving agriculture and rural communities, where her professional roots began and her passion remains.

“Rebecca’s background in agricultural finance and commercial lending makes her a strong addition to our cooperative,” said Regional Vice President of Mortgage Lending, Billy Leavitt. “Her experience and passion for rural communities will bring value to our stockholders and the customers we serve.”

Rebecca and her husband, Mark, have been married for 12 years, have two children and enjoy hunting, fishing, and spending time outdoors together.

“I’m excited to join Texas Farm Credit and be part of an organization that is deeply committed to agriculture and rural Texas,” McDaniel said. “I look forward to serving our customers and building relationships in the communities I call home.”

Texas Farm Credit is a premier lending cooperative serving rural communities across 101 Texas counties with insurance and financial solutions, as well as a full-service mortgage lender offering financing for rural homes, construction and homesite projects, and traditional or conventional mortgages for both country and in-town properties.
