Austin grew up on his family’s farm and ranch in Whitesboro, Texas, where he continues to be engaged in the management of their cow-calf enterprise with his wife and family. He came to Texas Farm Credit in August 2018 after a career at the Noble Research Institute where he worked on their beef cattle research and operations staff. Austin holds a master’s degree in animal science and bachelor’s degree in agricultural leadership and development from Texas A&M University. He is an active member of Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association and serves on the board of directors for the Grayson County Farm Bureau and his local school district.

Kevin graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University with a degree in Agricultural Business. Before joining Farm Credit, he built a successful career in the agricultural equipment industry, holding roles in sales and management at John Deere dealerships. Kevin joined the TFC team over a year ago, bringing extensive industry expertise and a passion for serving the agricultural community.

Outside of work, Kevin enjoys life on the family farm and spending quality time with his wife of 22 years and their three children, who are actively involved in sports. An avid outdoorsman, Kevin enjoys hunting deer, turkey, dove, and ducks and dreams of one day embarking on an elk hunting adventure.

Kevin Trapp came to Texas farm Credit in 2016 with ten years of prior insurance experience. Kevin spent 16 years working full time in John Deere construction deanships running parts and service departments. He graduated from Texas A&M with a degree in Agronomy in 2000. Kevin is currently involved in a couple of local youth livestock shows and his family raises mini-Herefords and brahman cows.

Charmain Nelson has been with Texas Farm Credit since April 2005. Living in a small South Texas community, Charmain raised her four children to be involved in FFA and 4H where they showed hogs. She serves on the greeting committee at her local church, volunteers during Vacation Bible School each summer and was previously a youth archery instructor for more than 10 years as a level three coach. She enjoys spending time with her husband hunting, fishing, riding motorcycles and is an avid photographer.

Sam is a native Texan who grew up working in the agricultural industry and graduated from Texas A&M University – Kingsville with an Agribusiness degree. Sam began his career with TFC in February 2016 as a Credit Analyst, and worked his way to Credit Officer in the Capital Markets Division. He holds certificates in Ranch Management from the King Ranch Institute for Ranch Management, Artificial Insemination Beef Cattle, and from Hill Country Horseshoeing School. Sam is an active member of Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association, Texas Wildlife Association and Quail Coalition.  He and his wife have two children who are fifth generation ranchers and enjoy spending time at the ranch.

A New Mexico native, Tom Miller has been with Farm Credit since 2010. He grew up on his family’s dairy, holds a degree from New Mexico State, and is a cohort of Texas Agricultural Lifetime Leadership Program. Tom is involved with the Dairy Farmer’s Association, Texas Association of Dairymen, and Sulphur Springs Lion Club. Tom and his wife have two daughters who are involved with 4H, sports, and helping with the family’s small cattle herd.

Born and raised in Taft, Alan has been in the crop and insurance for nearly half a century! He has held several community positions and served on the School Board for 12 years, as well as a Board member for the San Patricio Municipal Water District.
